Join Trish to learn how to embellish this festive hand-painted Christmas stocking. For beginners and experienced sewers alike, you will learn new embellishment and beading techniques, brush up on embroidery skills and create a beautiful one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking.

In this workshop, you will:

• Receive a beautiful stocking panel hand-painted by Trish herself
• Learn and practice a range of embroidery stitches
• Explore texture, layering and embellishment
• Gain tips on design and finishing technique for your padded, fully lined, quilted stocking with a piped edge

Trish will have a beautiful selection of beads, sequins, threads, and trinkets available for purchase on the day, so you can personalise your stocking as you go.

We recommend attending all three classes to complete your stocking:

Class One – Receive your hand-painted stocking panel and begin embellishing
Class Two (optional) – Continue and complete your embellishment
Class Three (optional) – Assemble your finished stocking

You will need to bring (or buy) basic sewing supplies (e.g., thread, scissors, needles, marking pen etc.)

Requirements (to bring or buy instore):

• 1 metre lining fabric
• 60cm fabric for the back of the stocking
• 50cm padding for the stocking (Trish recommends Pellon 281W)
• Any thread, trinkets, beads or sequins that you'd like to use
• Piping
